Mills Tavern The Mills Tavern is an upscale seasonal restaurant nestled in the culinary – rich North Main Street area of Providence, Rhode Island. The restaurant is located in the old Pilgrim Mills Building and still has a lot of the charm, and beauty of an era long ago. The restaurant has red brick walls, vaulted casement ceilings, dark woods and heavy linen covered tables that orates class and elegance. This combination adds to the feeling that one might be gathering in an old Eighteenth- century tavern. Most of the old pillars have been given a dark burnished finish combined with rough ledge stone. The classic look with references to colonial times featuring globed chandeliers, wide plank floors and an oyster-shell mosaic at the raw bar is attractive and seductive. |
