Thanks to positive feedback from its clientele, Mill’s Tavern won the 2015 OpenTable Diners’ Choice Award. This is the fourth consecutive year that the downtown Providence restaurant has been selected for this award from the international online reservation service.
The Diners’ Choice Award listing celebrates top-rated restaurants and, each month, OpenTable.com features the Diners’ Choice winners on its website. Mill’s Tavern was selected according to feedback in the form of reviews from diners who booked through OpenTable.com and dined at the restaurant.

TripAdvisor has awarded both Mill’s Tavern and its sister restaurant Red Stripe with a 2014 Certificate of Excellence. This prestigious award recognizes our Encore Hospitality Group restaurants for consistently earning top ratings from travelers.
Mill’s Tavern and Red Stripe also are Open Table Diner’s Choice Award Winners for the third consecutive year (2014).
Mill’s Tavern earned a 2014 Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator magazine. The award, considered a top honor among restaurateurs and guests alike, honors Mill’s Tavern for having “one of the most outstanding restaurant wine lists in the world,” according to the lifestyle magazine.
Wine Spectator started its awards program in 1981 to recognize the world’s best wine lists. The Award of Excellence celebrates those wine lists offering an interesting and diverse selection of wines that match the restaurant’s cuisine in price and style.
Mill’s made some strategic changes this year, resulting in a solid, 175-selection wine list with a strong concentration in California labels. Judges liked the well-chosen selections from quality producers, along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style. The restaurant also earned this distinction in 2004.
